Leftists Use Active Shooter In Rockford, IL To Push Gun Control

Earlier today police and U.S. marshals attempted to serve Floyd Brown with an arrest warrant for attempted murder in Rockford, IL. Brown was staying at the Extended Day America hotel on North Bell School Road. Brown allegedly opened fire on the officers hitting a McHenry County sheriff's deputy in the head.

The deputy who was shot has since died of his injuries. Floyd Brown then led police on a chase that exceeded speeds of 100 mph until his vehicle spun out on I-55 in Logan County between Springfield and Bloomington. As of this writing Brown is holed up inside his car on the highway, which is shut down in both directions. Police describe him as "contained but not in custody."

All in all this is a horrible situation involving a man whose criminal record stretches back over 20 years to at least 1997. In fact, Brown was wanted on multiple Illinois county warrants. Local authorities have said that Floyd Brown faced 20-80 years for first degree attempted murder on the warrant that officers attempted to serve him this morning.

Naturally, Leftists are going to use this moment to push their rabid gun control agenda.

Multiple news outlets are reporting on this situation. Zero of them have stated that Floyd Brown is using a Kevlar vest with armor penetrating ammo.

There is an active shooter in Rockford, Illinois.

Floyd Brown's criminal record started in 1997 as far as we know. We had an assault weapons ban in this country for a good portion Brown's criminal career.

Hillary Clinton's Fake Southern Accent Is Back!

Hillary Clinton spoke at a service at a black church in Selma, Alabama this past Sunday. Clinton was in town to mark the anniversary of "Bloody Sunday," one of the pivotal struggles of the Civil Rights Movement. While speaking at the ceremony it seems that the fake Southern preacher accent that we saw so much of in 2016 made a comeback.

The crowd loved it, of course.

It seems that what would be insanely racist if a Republican had done it is quite charming when Hillary Clinton is the one speaking.
It's true that Hillary Clinton recently said she was not going to run for president in 2020. That's disappointing news. Quite frankly, I was looking forward to Trump trouncing her a second time.

However, the New York Times' Maggie Haberman tweeted this little nugget the day after Clinton told everyone she was out of the running.

Spoke to someone close with Clinton in contact with her today. They say she wasn’t trying to be emphatic and close the door on running when she spoke to a local reporter yesterday, and that she was surprised by how definitively it played. 1/2

The person also says she is extremely unlikely to run, but that she remains bothered that she’s expected to close the door on it when, say, John Kerry isn’t. She has told her team she is waiting at least to see the Mueller report. 2/2

The fact of the matter is we still have zero idea whether or not Hillary Clinton will be running in 2020. We know she wants to. I've argued time and again that Hillary wants another shot at the brass ring of power that is the presidency. We also know that Hillary's 2016 loss to Orange Man Bad never sat well with her.

Bottom line? I wouldn't count Hillary out just yet.

In Which The Media Lies About Trump And Otto Warmbier

President Trump's second historic summit with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un ended without an agreement being signed. The fact of the matter is that, even without a deal, President Trump has brought us closer to peace with North Korea than we have ever been.

The media, however, has been fixated on his supposed "insult" to the memory of former North Korean prisoner Otto Warmbier. They're acting as if they are the lone defenders of Otto Warmbier and his family.

I'll tell you why they're a bunch of lying hypocrites.

That's a pretty good summation of why Twitter feels the need to censor us, and the Left in general feels the need to deplatform us into oblivion.

Democrats Gear Up To Investigate Fake News

Democrats and the Left have long failed to take Fake News seriously. They've derided and insulted President Trump for using the term. Democrats insist that all journalists are hard-working, honest individuals. Rather than peddling lies and slander, the media simply speaks truth to power.

Even when the media outright lies it's nothing more than a journalistic "oopsie." According to the Democrats at least.

Now, though, it seems Democrats are finally taking the scourge of Fake News seriously. House Judiciary Committe Chairman Jerry Nadler has announced that Democrats will begin investigating the scourge that is Fake News.

Don't get too excited, though. I'll tell you why this Democrat investigation of Fake News probably isn't what you think it will be.

President Trump gave a fiery speech at CPAC on Saturday.

During the speech President Trump touted his many successes and destroyed his critics. President Trump saved his harshest criticism for Democrats and the Russia investigation, however.

Watch what could possibly be the finest moment of Donald Trump's presidency.

I'd wager much of America had the same exact reaction to President Trump's CPAC speech. This was Based Trump at his finest.
