A lonely reporter from The Weather Channel found himself in the midst of Hurricane Florence this past weekend when he was caught exaggerating the storm's intensity . Perhaps he was just exhausted from doing constant live reports. Maybe he was trying to seem more heroic than he actually was. Whatever the reason, this young man proved that nothing is off limits to Fake News.

Nike: I Meme

Nike's stock took a huge hit when they signed Colin Kaepernick as their new spokesman. The company lost nearly $2 billion almost before the ink on Kaepernick's contract had dried. Perhaps even worse, Nike's favorability ratings with its key demographics cratered with the announcement of their new "Just Do It" campaign.

Luckily for us Nike's Internet stock is still going strong. Enterprising memesters of all ages and races continue to blast Nike with the level of snark we've come to expect from the Internet.
