Senator Chuck Grassley Gives Christine Ford An Ultimatum

Veteran Washington reporter Jamie Dupree has reported that Senator Chuck Grassley, head of the Senate Judiciary Committee, has given Dr. Christine Ford a deadline to let him know whether or not she intends to testify about her allegations of sexual assault against SCOTUS nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

Here's the letter itself from Grassley's office:

Dr. Ford had previously indicated that she would be willing to testify in front of the Judiciary Committee. A hearing had been scheduled for Monday, however now Ford is refusing to testify unless the FBI investigates her claims. The problem, of course, is that the FBI and DOJ had already looked into her claims when Senator Dianne Feinstein brought them to their attention in July. The agencies determined that the whole thing is a big nothing burger and have refused to investigate further.

Feinstein and Dr. Ford brought this accusation against Judge Kavanaugh in a cynical attempt to force an indefinite delay in his confirmation hearing. You know it. I know it. The American people know it. Unfortunately for Feinstein and Ford, Senator Grassley knows it as well. This letter is a clear indication that Chuck is done playing their games.

I suspect that Friday's deadline will come and go with Ford still refusing to testify. We'll see a vote on Judge Kavanaugh shortly after that, and he'll be sworn in as a new SCOTUS judge just in time for the midterms.

WUSA Channel 9 in Washington, DC, certainly seems to think so. They've recently come into possession of Kavanaugh's high school yearbook from 1982 by way of an "unnamed source."

WUSA chose to release the "shocking" revelations contained within in an ultra-serious article that I'm sure they considered appropriate given the "gravity" of the situation.

Leftist idiots accused White House aide Zina Bash of being a white supremacist on the first day of Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation hearing. Hateful accusations flew from Leftists of all stripes from across the country. Things got so bad that Zina Bash's husband, US Attorney John Bash, took to Twitter in an attempt to defend his wife and his family.

His gallant attempt at chivalry went about as well as one would expect.

Remember Merrick Garland? Leftists were pretty upset when Mitch McConnell failed to even give Obama's last SCOTUS nominee a hearing just before the 2016 election. Well, the specter of Merrick Garland reared its ugly head again as Leftists invoked his name in bashing GOP "hypocrisy" on the Brett Kavanaugh hearing. Leftists were so angry they sent "Merrick Garland" trending earlier this afternoon on Twitter.

Leftists Disrupt Brett Kavanaugh's #SCOTUS Hearing

The fireworks started early in the confirmation hearing for President Trump's latest Supreme Court pick, Brett Kavanaugh. Democrats had originally planned to walk out from the confirmation hearing en masse as a protest against President Trump. Instead, however, Democrats decided to disrupt the hearing and attempted to shout down Senator Chuck Grassley as he attempted to begin the proceedings. The event was capped off with several raucous protesters being escorted from the hearing.

 I'll tell you why this display of Leftist insanity is the best thing that could have happened to Republicans on today's episode of Trigger Warning Radio.
